Habitude One - H2O

Habitude One ~ Water

You may remember I wrote about Habitude One here.

Water is truly a gift of life.
Literally. We know that we can survive without food for a few days if we're lost in a forest, but without water...yikes, that's not a happy ending.  Having made it through my 'nanna bladder' phase where I basically camped out in front of the toilet for 3 days, I got to a great stage where I not only could drink water without needing to go piddle, but I was actually craving it. I CHOSE (yes, you read that right) water over Coca-Cola several times...and the sky didn't cave in. I'm pretty certain Coke's share price took a huge nose dive those few weeks!

Fell off the Wagon. Back on the Horse

If you've been playing along at home, you'll know that habitude is my new word for the new 'habits' and 'attitudes' that I am adding to my lifestyle. Six in fact. Each week.

Hi!
How is it possible that this much time has passed?  I have sat down to write this post about half a dozen times this past few weeks. Because there is sooooo much to say, I get part way through and decide I can't post an unfinished product.  This is obviously not acceptable! I'm sure people have been losing sleep wondering how my habitude experiment is going. ;-)  I do apologise if you have been waiting to read more.  I will try to write smaller posts (perhaps blogging about one habitude per day might be a better fit for me?) I won't know until I try, I suppose.

Habitude One and Five

If you've been playing along at home, you'll know that habitude is my new word for the new 'habits' and 'attitudes' that I am adding to my lifestyle. Six in fact. Each week.

I started adding six new habitudes
Wednesday 13 June 2012, therefore I am well in to my second week.  I've been trying to get a blog post out for the past five days, but there is a lot of content I'm trying to condense into a readable format.  I think because this is a blog about my personal journey, and seeing that my degree is in interior design and not medicine, I will forego a lot of the scientific/medical reporting (you're smart people, you can read books, talk to your doctor and ask Mr Google for more information should you require it) in place of a very general summary of what I have learned over the years.

Habitudes

Righty oh.
Buckle Up Baby...Here We Go

I've buckled up
and strapped myself in for the ride of my life. I hope.
This little experiment of mine has the potential to be huge in my world. A game changer.
I'm actually quite excited about this little adventure I've just embarked upon.
It's been a long time in the making. 7 years of research.
A lifetime of learning.

I think I have most of the parts in place.
Of course you can never have all your ducks in a row completely, for life is ever changing.  We need to be able to grow and change if we wish to thrive and excel.  I have always been fearful of change. It never sat comfortably with me.  I admire those people immensely who look fear in the face and flip it the middle finger.  Those who embrace change with gusto.

Ready, set...

This is a super long post. Apologies in advance.
There's lots to say first time back in ten months.
Hope you'll hang in there.  Future posts will be more like me - short ;-)

Hello old friends.
It's been a while since my last confession blog post.  I have been a bit neglectful of late of this lovely little space I call my blog.  So I've decided to commit to a more regular writing schedule.  Regular for me does not necessarily mean every day...or even every second (or third...). By aiming for one day a week, I can give myself copious amounts of praise and a pat on the back if I manage to make that happen (because not unlike a puppy, I work well with praise).

I'm not here...I'm over there!

Hello.

Long time no talk to.

To get me back on the path to blogging on a more regular basis, the lovely Leanne at Deep Fried Fruit has invited me into her home for a yakity yak.  Hope you enjoy sitting in with us, and keep an eye out for more blogging from boomerang jane 21.

Cheerio

Competiton Give Away

PRIZE GIVE-AWAY

As a way to celebrate 200 likers on the boomerang jane facebook page, I would like to offer a small give away of the Sunny Daze reusable shopping bag.  As you can see from the beautiful photo above taken by the lovely Leanne over at Deep Fried Fruit, the bags are quite unique in their appearance.
